Tommy Slanker’s racing career began in 2002 at just 15 years old, when he climbed behind the wheel of an Extreme Stock. It didn’t take long to find Victory Lane—Tommy picked up his first career win during his rookie season.
In 2010, Tommy made the move into Limited Late Models, competing through 2013 before taking on his next challenge in the Pro Stock division.
From 2013 through 2019, Tommy became a force in the Pro Stocks, collecting 11 wins at Selinsgrove Speedway along with a Track Championship.
Tommy also proved he could get it done in a Late Model, picking up a Late Model victory at Trail-Way Speedway in 2017.
In 2019, Tommy made the move into Late Model racing full-time, where he continues to compete today. Since making that move, he has added two more victories at BAPS Motor Speedway to an already impressive racing résumé.
From Extreme Stocks to Limited Late Models, Pro Stocks, and Late Models, Tommy has spent more than two decades chasing checkered flags and doing what he loves.
